SHEQ Manager CEE (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) (M/F/X)

Are you a hands-on SHEQ professional who enjoys working close to operations and driving real impact? We are looking for a pragmatic and solution-oriented candidate to support our Central & Eastern Europe region. In this role, you will ensure compliance, strengthen safety culture, and support continuous improvement across multiple sites—working closely with local teams and managers.
We welcome candidates with less experience who are eager to improve their skills.
- Implement and maintain SHEQ policies, procedures, and standards across the CEE region
- Ensure compliance with local HSE legislation, ISO standards, and BRC requirements
- Monitor incidents, conduct investigations, and introduce preventive actions
- Support and coach local managers in building a strong safety and quality culture
- Coordinate audits (internal & external) and ensure timely follow-up of findings
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System and standardize processes
- Track SHEQ KPIs, analyze trends, and drive practical improvement initiatives
- Support food safety compliance, audit readiness, and documentation standards
- Promote environmental awareness and support sustainability activities
- Conduct regular site visits and collaborate closely with operational teams
- Act as an independent contributor in a standalone role without direct reports, working closely with cross-functional teams across the region
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SHEQ, HSE, Quality, or Compliance roles
- Experience in multi-site environments (CEE exposure is a strong plus)
- Background in logistics, manufacturing, FMCG, food, or supply chain operations
- Practical experience with ISO standards and audits (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 – preferred)
- Experience with BRC or food safety standards is an advantage
- Hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently
- Good stakeholder management skills and ability to cooperate with different teams
- Fluent English; Fluent Polish; other CEE languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel across the region
