Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS as we are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join the team as an Shift Executive ‐ Dry Finishing. This role will enable you to ensure manage the shift/oversee all operations within the department in order to meet planned production targets at the required quality levels while coordinating with the other shifts and thereby meet customer requirements effectively.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily/weekly delivery plans, prioritize batches, and allocate resources considering absenteeism, previous shift output, and team skill levels.
- Work closely with DBI, QA, colour, finishing, and dyeing teams to ‘pull’ priority batches and avoid delays in on-time delivery (OTD).
- Partner with planning/marketing teams to achieve DIFOT targets, while promptly communicating deviations in quantities.
- Provide guidance and solutions for technical/production issues during shifts, ensuring quality and timely output.
- Prepare and circulate AQL plans, verify bulk parameters against standards, and communicate deviations to technical teams.
- Manage draw cord/fabric operations, ensuring resource availability to meet fluctuating capacity and customer requirements.
- Analyze and decide on hold/reject quantities to prevent delivery failures, while reporting causes to relevant departments.
- Drive skill development initiatives through skill matrices, STW audits, and JIT practices.
- Guide the shift team to achieve departmental KPIs, maintaining safety, efficiency, attendance, and pass rates.
- Uphold MAS DNA, company policies, best practices, and compliance with laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Degree in Physical science or a related field (Statistics, Data Science, Chemical & material engineering, Mathematics).
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Macros, VBA).
- Knowledge of Power BI dashboard development and visualization
- ERP system knowledge (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
- Knowledge of manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, Productivity, Waste, Efficiency, and Quality Metrics.
