Shift Lead
Purpose: Work with supervisor for Production Department.
Reports to: Supervisor
Conditions: Work on floor to manage Production, conduct audits and resolve Quality issues.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Human Resources
- Enforce Safety requirements within the facility.
- Follow and support all food safety programs, policies and PPE as designated.
- Administrative
- Maintain daily Production and labor inputs.
- Coordinate daily planning with Supervisor.
- Help train all non-maintenance personnel.
- Follow machine cleaning and zone housekeeping procedures throughout the plant.
- Serve on the Safety Committee.
- Work Focus
- Flexible hours to accomplish required objectives.
- Regularly review progress with the Supervisor.
- Preserve the safety and integrity of the Company.
- Lead employees toward continuous improvement in systems, equipment and performance.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Plant Manager.
