Shift Supervisor - 2nd Shift
About the Role
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that production processes and schedules are being followed and optimized for performance. This role requires a close connection to equipment and mechanical aptitude to be able to troubleshoot and address problems reactively and proactively, as well as strong leadership skills to motivate and drive performance of production staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Train, mentor, and motivate production staff
- Manage time and attendance of production staff
- Develop, document and implement standard processes.
- Troubleshoot equipment and processing problems to address quality concerns and improve production efficiency
- Recommend and develop manufacturing processes improvements to reduce costs, improve product quality and meet operational goals
- Effectively communicate with other departments and between shifts.
- Set up presses, related equipment and work areas as assign staff according to daily production schedules.
- Perform all other duties assigned.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of prior supervisory experience required; plastic injection molding processing and equipment knowledge, set-up and maintenance preferred but not required; ability and willingness to learn plastic injection molding processing and equipment knowledge, set-up and maintenance required
- Excellent leadership and communications skills required.
- Basic computer skills required; experience using ERP systems highly preferred
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time, occasionally lifting 50lbs, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- New mold sampling and troubleshooting experience is a plus.
