Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure production schedules are met, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment during their assigned shift. This role involves direct supervision of production and plant personnel, coordinating workflow, enforcing quality and safety standards, and providing hands-on support to resolve operational issues
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct all production activities and personnel for the assigned shift to meet daily and weekly production targets.
- Ensure all manufacturing processes adhere to quality standards, company policies, and safety regulations, including OSHA.
- Coordinate with the Production Manager and other Shift Supervisors to ensure smooth shift transitions and continuous workflow.
- Conduct regular safety briefings, on-the-job training, and performance feedback sessions for team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues or equipment malfunctions, escalating major issues to the Maintenance Tech or Production Manager as needed.
- Manage employee timekeeping, breaks, and coverage to maintain consistent staffing levels and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records, inventory logs, and shift reports.
