Shift Supervisor - Fruit Stand

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks: (material responsibilities and essentials duties)

Work all shifts

Demonstrate good judgment

Receive, price and put out merchandise

Keep floor stocked at all times

Place orders with suppliers, maintain knowledge of various suppliers

Set an example for employees, arrive on time, in correct uniform at all times, maintain all store

standards

Greet and acknowledge every guest

Demonstrate solid product knowledge

Maintain an awareness of all product information, merchandise promotions, and advertisements

Demonstrate friendly and helpful service to all customers consistently

Suggest additional items to the customer

Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and media accountabilities at POS registers, including scanning or inputting barcodes

Ring each item on the correct key

Minimize cash discrepancies so they do not exceed +/- $5.00 per day

Meet or exceed customer service standards

Assist in floor moves, merchandising, and display maintenance

Stock the floor as needed

Complete housekeeping tasks as needed

Adhere to all Company policies, procedures and practices including signing, pricing, and loss

prevention

Qualifications: (minimum educational and experience qualifications, required proficiencies with specialized

knowledge, required certifications, etc.)

Able to have basic math skills, able to follow verbal and written instructions, able to independently evaluate current conditions against standard and perform tasks

necessary to bring areas to standard.

Special Position Requirements: (Any hazard, risk, security issue or related special conditions which apply to the position, i.e. chemicals used, equipment used, cash handling, etc.)

Cash handling is required. Cash discrepancies must not exceed +/- $5.00 per day

Some exposure to cleaning products, (bathroom and toilet cleansers, window cleaners, wax, wax stripper, graffiti remover, paint remover etc), paint, and other chemicals is required

Equipment used: glass handling, deli slicer, knives, tortilla warmer, hot beverage equipment, CO2

Work Requirements:

Pay: $19.00 - 22.00 per hour
