Shift Supervisor

About the position:

The Sanofi site in Csanyikvölgy is a key hub for pharmaceutical manufacturing, where we produce the highest quality injectable medicines using modern technology and dedicated professionals. As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a key role in the daily operations of the ampoule manufacturing plant: your main goal is to ensure the required quantity of products is delivered at the right quality and on time, while leading the shift efficiently and sustainably in accordance with GMP and other pharmaceutical manufacturing regulations.

The position is filled on a shift schedule (2 or 3 shifts), and you will report directly to the Plant Manager of the Injection Manufacturing Plant.

Your main tasks:

Shift leadership and performance management

  • Efficient and compliant operation of the shift, supporting the achievement of annual objectives
  • Daily work and resource planning, management of subordinates
  • Daily evaluation of technology performance, regular reporting to management
  • Application of efficiency improvement tools, development of standards

Quality assurance and compliance

  • Creation, enforcement, and development of regulations and instructions
  • Maintaining audit readiness, regular performance of process checks
  • Compliance with and enforcement of GMP rules and data integrity requirements
  • Keeping manufacturing documentation up to date

Problem solving and process improvement

  • Handling extraordinary events and deviations, ensuring compliant resolution
  • Implementation of corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence
  • Development of technological improvement proposals, supporting the introduction of new processes

Team development and training

  • Training of subordinates, preparation and execution of training plans
  • Regular evaluation of colleagues, supporting their professional development
  • Maintaining a motivating, productive work environment

Occupational safety and environmental protection

  • Compliance with and enforcement of HSE rules, performing regular safety checks
  • Enforcement of occupational health, fire safety, and environmental regulations

Maintenance of technology and equipment

  • Ensuring the cleanliness and preservation of the work area and equipment
  • Supporting the resolution of technical faults, regular status monitoring

What we expect from you?

Experience:

  • Experience in production or packaging
  • Experience in leading small work groups
  • Knowledge of applying quality requirements and procedures
  • Knowledge of modern production systems
  • Advantage: deeper experience in managing work groups

Soft and technical competencies:

  • Work organization skills
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Creativity, innovative mindset, motivation skills
  • Responsible work ethic, conflict management skills
  • User-level knowledge of MS Office and Power BI
  • Advantage: knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems

Education:

  • Higher education degree, preferably in a field related to applied technology

Language skills:

  • Hungarian: native level
  • English: professional working proficiency

The salary range for this position is :Ft8 160 000,00 - Ft10 880 000

Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
