Shift Supervisor
Summary
Oversees daily semiconductor production, trains and manages staff, and implements process improvements to meet quality and output targets.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate the activities of production employees to achieve daily production output and quality targets
- Monitor production schedules and ensure the timely completion of tasks
- Identify and address bottlenecks to maintain smooth operations
- Assign tasks to team members based on production requirements, skills, and workload
- Conduct training sessions to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Provide performance coaching and enforce discipline as needed
- Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with Engineering, Logistics, Quality Assurance, and other departments to resolve production issues
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with EHS policies, PPE requirements, and cleanroom standards
- Conduct safety training sessions for team members
- Investigate and report safety incidents promptly
Requirements:
- Diploma/ Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or related field
- At least 1 year of experience in a semiconductor fab environment
- Experience in bumping processes is an advantage
- Good leadership and communication skills
