Job Summary

Odin Marine is looking for a Shipbroker to join the Specialty Tanker desk at our Singapore office. As a Ship Broker, you will act as a professional intermediary facilitating negotiations between shipowners and charterers to arrange the transport of liquid bulk commodities by sea on board tanker vessels. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of ship brokers to achieve business goals
  • Provide market insights and professional advice to shipowners and charterers to support informed decision-making
  • Negotiate charter parties and contracts with shipowners and charterers to secure favorable transport agreements
  • Maintain and develop productive business relationships with existing customers to enhance client retention
  • Identify and engage potential customers to expand the client base regionally and globally
  • Monitor market developments and gather intelligence, data, and information to inform strategic actions
  • Continuously enhance own skills and knowledge and support team members’ development to maintain high service quality standards
