Ship Rec Clerk BE Tucs
What You’ll Do
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and inspect for accuracy or damage
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and documentation (bills of lading, packing lists, etc.)
- Maintain and update inventory records and shipping/receiving systems
- Coordinate with transportation providers to schedule shipments
- Conduct quality checks on outgoing goods to ensure compliance with standards
- Perform accurate data entry related to shipments and inventory
- Order and maintain shipping and receiving supplies
- Collaborate with internal teams to support efficient material flow
- Operate office equipment and shipping carrier systems
- Safely operate a forklift (valid certification required)
- Perform additional duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- 1–2 years of warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or warehouse systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to perform basic math (including fractions and decimals)
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or on a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Forklift experience and valid certification
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs. (team lift for heavier items)
- Push/pull carts and operate material handling equipment
- Bend, stoop, reach, and kneel regularly
- Work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, noise, and dust
- Safely operate a forklift and other equipment
