ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials and shipments.
  • Coordinate and prepare outbound shipments to customers, vendors, and outside service providers.
  • Verify shipping and receiving documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate with internal departments regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and special requirements.
  • Manage expedited shipment requests from customers and vendors.
  • Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve shipping discrepancies and delivery issues.
  • Create, verify, and match shipping, receiving, and purchase order documentation.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper material handling and transaction processing.
  • Prepare products for shipment according to packaging, labeling, and customer specifications.
  • Print and review pick lists and shipping documentation.
  • Package materials and products using approved methods to prevent damage during transit.
  • Load and unload trucks and assist with material movement throughout the facility.
  • Operate material handling equipment as authorized and trained.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

    SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and shipping/receiving systems.
    • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
    • Ability to communicate professionally with employees, customers, vendors, and carriers.
    • Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, packing slips, and purchase orders.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and resolve issues collaboratively.
    • Ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble objects and materials.
    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
    • Physical ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
