Shipping and Warehouse Supervisor
The Shipping and Warehouse Supervisor position plays a crucial role in contributing to the growth of the company by championing a servant leadership philosophy, focusing on empowering, developing, and supporting your team to achieve operational excellence. This position will directly oversee all daily warehouse workflows, ensuring seamless execution across receiving, inventory control, and shipping processes. Assist in developing and implementing receiving, inventory, dispatching, and shipping procedures.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Provide leadership and training in all activities within the assigned departments by setting clear expectations and providing regular feedback.
- Monitor the flow of product through the warehouse and make manpower adjustments when necessary.
- Research warehouse and shipping errors utilizing Root Cause Analysis to promote continuous improvement.
- Responds with a sense of urgency to any request or issue and provide information and/or resolution in a timely manner.
- Assist with maintaining accuracy and ensuring adherence to work instructions.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas using 5S principals.
- Support and motivate departmental employees to achieve established warehouse and shipping metrics with a high level of confidence and success.
- Responsible for the review and disposition of identified non-conforming material and unidentified material, based on use of defined workmanship standards, guidelines and direction provided by the Manufacturers, or direction provided by members of Management.
- Participate in and, at times, lead meetings with team members and fellow coworkers.
- Assist with identifying safety needs and ensure safety policies are followed across the team.
- FOD Prevention Focal team member for the South Bend facility.
- Ability to complete tasks in an expedient and orderly manner while attaining the quality standards set forth by PEI-Genesis and ISO 9001/AS9100.
- Experience with hiring, supervising, and training associates.
