We are looking for a Shipping Assistant for coordinating and managing end-to-end shipping and logistics operations to ensure the timely and accurate movement of goods.
The role ensures handling import and export documentation, shipment scheduling, and coordination with customers, freight forwarders, carriers, courier services, and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
Do not that this role is 50% Desk-bound and 50% Warehouse role.
Responsibilities
- Perform all shipping functions, including shipping database update and necessary operations support
- Co-ordinate with all related parties for shipment scheduling and document preparation
- Handle import and export shipments/documents (e.g. delivery order/billing of lading, tax invoice, arrival notice and etc.) to ensure smooth shipment and timely delivery
- Liaise with customers and 3PL crater for shipment planning and job executions
- Liaising and coordinate with carriers / forwarders with regards to outboard shipments
- Shipment arrangement with courier service (e.g. FedEx , DHL, TNT etc)
- Manual Commercial Invoice processing (ZNCI /K2 SR). Preparation of SAP generated invoice , Crating List , packing list , LC (Letter of Credit)
Requirements
- Computer literate and able to use basic warehouse systems
- 1–2 years of experience in logistics/warehouse industry or related education background is preferred
- Good attendance, punctuality, and positive working attitude
- Willing to perform overtime when required
- Able to work in a warehouse environment and able to lift heavy objects.
