Shipping Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Logistics vendor management.
- Freight management.
- Overall 3PL and 4PL management.
- Provide departmental support, including training & handling complaints.
- Handling insurance claims.
- Creating and updating department SOPs.
- Storage tank terminal communications.
- Bulk shipments coordination.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by the immediate superior.
- Ensure work processes comply with GMP +B3 and RSPO standards.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or Logistics.
- 3 – 5 years in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, or related field.
- Management & people skills are required.
- Good knowledge and experience in shipping operations and documentation.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in Logistics operations on movements of goods in different modes of export, covering bulk, containers, flex tanks, and ISO tanks.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in Incoterms, Letter of Credit transactions (UCP 600), Free Trade Agreements (COO).
- Knowledge of requirements in Dangerous Goods shipments and labeling is an advantage.
- The ability to source freight and negotiate with Liners and Operators is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & Word) and SAP experience is preferred.
- Experience in the oleochemical industry is an advantage.
