Shipping/Overheads Accountant Intern
The Trading business is fast-moving, dynamic and complex environment: it is necessary to understand the business and react quickly.
You will report to the Accounting Manager within the Trading & Shipping financial team. Your main responsibilities will be the following:
- Following the accounting and the payment of T&S invoices,
- Carrying out the follow-up on the provisions, the bank reconciliations,
- Making online declarations and online payments with the tax organisms
- Participating in the production of consolidated and social financial statements,
- Reviewing the results of spot voyages,
- Assisting with monthly closings and reporting tasks
- Assisting with VAT and tax declarations
- Supporting the preparation of statutory financial statements and audit processes
- Contributing to projects (process automation, operational improvements…)
