Position: Shipping & Receiving Coordinator
Job Function Summary:
Arrange for timely and cost-effective shipments from and receipts to SSI Fabricated.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Shipping and receiving all inventory and non-inventory items.
- Procurement of shipping companies.
- Identification of shipping rates and insurances, including negotiating freight discounts.
- Back up Production Planner position while that employee is away.
- Generate Bills of Lading, export document sets and other shipping paperwork.
- Work fluently with customer required traffic control systems.
- Other functions as required by the Materials Manager.
