Shipping Warehouse Driver

Responsibilities
- Warehouse Forklift operation over 80% of a work day
- Must have strong computer skills and be able to process paperwork with high level of accuracy
- Spot trailers at warehouse dock for loading and unloading
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Organized, self-motivated and good housekeeping
- Follow supervisor’s instructions for switching trailers at plant when drivers are not available
- Work in manufacturing plant as needed
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and tasks
- Must maintain clean, safe work area
- Perform other work required by the Supervisor
Qualifications
- Qualified candidates must have a CDL Class A and must meet all FMCS and US DOT regulations
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- A stable work history with two - five years of experience in truck driving and warehouse / driving forklifts is a plus
- High school diploma or GED
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- With training able to use a measuring tape, utility knife, various hand tools, air hose, compactor, and steam hose.
- Focus on Safety is required including Lockout/Tagout
- Sit on equipment frequently, walk, stand, squat, bend, kneel, crawl. Lift and carry up to 75 pounds without assistance.
