Shop Pipefitter - Now Hiring

Overview:

The Pipefitter is responsible for the layout, assembly and fabrication of piping systems in accordance with client specifications, isometric drawings, and applicable standards. This role ensures accurate fit-up of pipe, fittings, and supports to support quality production and overall project success.

Responsibilities:

• Measure and mark pipe to prepare for cutting to required dimensions
• Read and interpret isometric and orthographic drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout and assembly requirements
• Assemble and secure pipe, fittings, and related equipment according to client specifications
• Verify materials and components meet job specifications and report discrepancies
• Work collaboratively with welders, supervisors and QC personnel to meet production schedules and quality expectations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Perform additional duties within the fabrication division as assigned
• Comply with all Company Core Safety Rules, policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of pipefitting experience in a fabrication shop environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld procedures and technical documents
• Ability to work extended hours, including 10-hour shifts and overtime as required
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods
• Physically capable of bending, kneeling, and squatting throughout the workday
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., unassisted

*Pay is dependent on experience, skill set, and qualifications and will be determined by the Shop Manager upon hire.
