Diesel Shop Service Manager

Sweetie Boy Transportation, established in 2010, is a full-service Automobile Transportation and Logistics company. We are looking for a Shop Service Manager for our independent diesel shop that services our fleet to join our growing team at our Richmond, VA hub location. If you’re a natural leader, motivated to work, reliable, and comfortable overseeing the day-to-day in a fleet shop environment, you’ll be a great fit.

We have an independent diesel shop that services our fleet. We strive to run and maintain a clean and organized shop, ensuring all services to our trucks are completed safely and efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee shop employees

• Keep your shop and techs on track

• Daily follow-up and effective communication with shop employees

• Follow procedures to ensure repairs are completed correctly and safely

• Empower your team and push for growth

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of automotive shop management experience

• Mechanical experience with heavy-duty diesel equipment

• Ability to manage several employees at a time

• Ability to adhere to company procedures and guidelines and ensure your shop is doing the same

Preferred Experience:

• Fleet Management

Pay and Benefits:

• 85k-125k yearly salary

Schedule:

• Day shift

• Monday to Friday

• 7:30 am-5:00 pm

• Rotating on-call

• Occasional overtime
