Shopfloor Specialist
Your Role :
Ensure the smooth running of receiving, storage, and production line feeding activities, while adhering to Aptiv standards.
For the raw materials warehouse:
• Supervise and coordinate annual and weekly physical inventory activities.
• Supervise receiving operations.
• Supervise storage operations and ensure quality and efficiency targets are met.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
• Conduct warehouse capacity assessments and implement optimization plans.
• Ensure alignment between system records and physical stock, while adhering to cycle counting procedures (raw material inventory managed and controlled via SAP).
• Ensure QVC targets are met and maintain robust action plans to address any gaps.
For the finished goods warehouse:
• Coordinate and organize finished goods shipments.
• Define organization and storage methods for various product families and SKUs.
• Supervise shipping operations and ensure adherence to the shipping schedule.
• Ensure alignment between physical stock and system records (while adhering to cycle counting procedures).
• Determine equipment requirements and ensure necessary prerequisites are in place.
• Ensure QVC targets are met and maintain robust action plans to address any gaps.
• Coordinate with Quality, Finance, Production, and Logistics departments to handle factory returns and any finished goods non-conformities.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field
- Experience in warehouse management within the automotive sector
- Team management capabilities
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong communication skills
