Shopify Developer

Salary: $4,500 – $6,000 per month

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to build, customize, and maintain high-performance e-commerce websites. You will handle the technical implementation of designs, develop custom functionality, manage complex app integrations, and ensure optimal site speed and security.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and customize robust Shopify themes from scratch using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• Build custom Shopify applications or integrate and configure third-party APIs and apps.

• Optimize website performance, page load speeds, and Core Web Vitals for SEO.

• Implement complex backend logic, custom checkout flows, and subscription models.

• Troubleshoot bugs, manage version control (Git), and perform routine technical audits.

About you

• Deep expertise in Shopify's template language (Liquid) and Shopify theme architecture.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (including frameworks like React or Vue), HTML, and CSS/SASS.

• Experience working with Shopify APIs (Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, and REST).

• Familiarity with headless commerce architectures (e.g., Shopify Hydrogen) is a strong plus.

• Solid understanding of version control systems like Git.
