Location: Metro Manila, Philippines | Remote

Employment type: Full-time | Night Shift

About the role

We're looking for a Shopify Developer to own the day-to-day health and growth of our partner's website. You'll keep the site fast, stable and on-brand, and you'll handle the steady flow of product and image uploads that comes with a fashion brand that drops new styles often. This isn't a ticket-taker role. We want someone who notices what could be better (a slow page, a clunky checkout step, an app we're underusing, a test worth running) and brings us the idea with a plan to make it happen.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve Shopify theme (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript), building new sections, templates and landing pages as needed.

  • Upload and manage products, collections and large volumes of product and campaign imagery, keeping file sizes, alt text and naming consistent.

  • Monitor the site daily so it runs without hiccups: broken links, layout bugs, app conflicts, checkout issues, page speed and mobile performance.

  • Proactively spot opportunities to lift conversion, AOV and site experience, and present them to the team with a clear recommendation.

  • Manage and troubleshoot third-party Shopify apps and integrations (reviews, search, loyalty, returns, email/SMS capture).

  • Set up and QA launches, sales and promotions so they go live on time and work on every device.

  • Support tracking and marketing tools on-site, such as pixels, GA4, pop-ups and Klaviyo sign-up forms.

  • Keep simple documentation of theme changes, apps and processes.

About you

  • 3+ years of hands-on Shopify development, including theme customization in Liquid.

  • Experience maintaining at least one other retail or e-commerce site; fashion or apparel is a strong plus.

  • Strong front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design.

  • Experience handling high volumes of product and image uploads accurately and efficiently.

  • A proactive, ownership mindset: you flag problems before they're reported and come with solutions.

  • Clear written English and comfort working async with a team in Los Angeles.

  • Familiarity with marketing tools such as Klaviyo, Meta and TikTok pixels, Google Analytics 4 and A/B testing tools.

  • Experience with Shopify Plus, Online Store 2.0 and page-speed optimization.

  • Basic image editing and optimization (Photoshop, batch resizing, compression).

  • Experience with CRO tools such as heatmaps and session recordings.
