We’re looking for a hands-on Shopify Developer with Store Optimization Skills to manage, maintain, and improve our Shopify stores and websites across multiple brands in beauty, education, and marketing.

This role combines practical e-commerce store management with web development and performance optimization. You’ll work closely with our in-house graphic designers, brand managers, and marketing team to ensure our online stores are visually consistent, technically reliable, easy to navigate, and built to support sales growth.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management, technical maintenance, and ongoing optimization of our Shopify stores and websites.

From managing product listings and store content to customizing themes, troubleshooting issues, improving page speed, and enhancing the customer journey, you’ll play an important role in keeping our e-commerce operations running smoothly.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bali. We’re looking for someone who can work closely with our team, manage tasks independently, and combine practical Shopify experience with solid web development skills and a commercial understanding of e-commerce.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Shopify stores, including products, collections, navigation, content, discounts, and promotions.

• Upload and update product listings, descriptions, images, pricing, and other store information.

• Customize Shopify themes and website layouts using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify Liquid.

• Build and improve product pages, landing pages, and other key store pages.

• Optimize website speed, mobile responsiveness, usability, and overall customer experience.

• Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and reduce friction throughout the customer journey.

• Monitor store performance and use Shopify analytics and other relevant tools to identify areas for improvement.

• Install, configure, and maintain Shopify apps and third-party integrations.

• Troubleshoot website issues, resolve bugs, and implement technical improvements.

• Support integrations with CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and sales automation tools where required.

• Work with designers and marketing teams to implement campaigns, promotions, and website updates.

• Maintain website quality, functionality, and brand consistency across all assigned stores.

• Take ownership of tasks, recommend improvements, and ensure work is completed accurately and on time.

About You

You are a practical, detail-oriented professional who understands both the technical side of Shopify and the day-to-day needs of an e-commerce business.

You can manage routine store operations independently, identify problems, and implement improvements without relying on developers for every small change.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer, Shopify Specialist, Web Developer, or in a similar e-commerce role.

• Hands-on experience managing a live Shopify store through Shopify Admin.

• Good knowledge of Shopify themes, theme customization, and store configuration.

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience managing product listings, collections, store content, and promotions.

• Understanding of responsive web design, UX/UI principles, and website performance.

• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement practical solutions.

• Familiarity with Shopify apps, third-party integrations, and e-commerce tools.

• Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and the factors that influence online sales.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a creative and marketing team.

• A proactive, independent approach with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.

• Willingness and ability to work full-time on-site in Bali.

Advantageous Skills

• Experience with Shopify Liquid and advanced theme customization.

• Experience with landing page builders and conversion optimization tools.

• Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, or similar analytics platforms.

• Experience with CRM systems, email marketing, and marketing automation integrations.

• Experience improving conversion rates, website speed, or other measurable e-commerce performance indicators.

• Experience working with beauty, skincare, haircare, or other consumer product brands.
