Intent Farm Shopify Web Developer – Sr Associate
We are looking for a skilled Shopify Web Developer – Sr Associate to design, develop, and maintain high-performing Shopify eCommerce stores. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Shopify theme development, Liquid templating, custom app integrations, and front-end technologies. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and marketing teams to deliver scalable and user-friendly eCommerce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores and themes.
- Build responsive, mobile-first user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Shopify Liquid.
- Implement custom Shopify features and functionality based on business requirements.
- Integrate third-party applications, APIs, and payment gateways.
- Optimize website performance, speed, SEO, and accessibility.
- Troubleshoot bugs, resolve technical issues, and perform regular maintenance.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.
- Work with Git for version control and participate in code reviews.
- Ensure security, scalability, and best coding practices.
- Support store migrations, upgrades, and feature enhancements.
- Stay updated with Shopify platform updates and emerging eCommerce technologies.
Requirements
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive web design.
- Experience customizing Shopify themes and working with Shopify Online Store 2.0.
- Basic understanding of Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, REST APIs, or GraphQL.
- Experience integrating third-party Shopify apps and external APIs.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub or other version control systems.
- Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and website performance optimization.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to React, Vue.js, or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Basic understanding of Shopify App development and Shopify CLI.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
