Job Description:

As B4 Shopper Activation Analyst (m/w/d) you are responsible for transforming raw retail, consumer, and shopper data into actionable insights that drive category growth for our chocolate bars portfolio. In this role you act as the analytical engine of the team, supporting the Portfolio Director, Cell Head, and Brand Managers by monitoring market, cell, brands performance.

Your key responsibilities

1. Data Analytics & Market Performance

  • Performance Tracking: Extract, analyze, and synthesize Nielsen and shopper metrics to track the health of our key brands (e.g., Snickers, Twix)
  • Supports Portfolio and Shopper Marketing teams preparing post-evaluation reviews of initiatives
  • Competitor Monitoring: Keep a pulse on competitor retail activity, and new product launches to flag risks or opportunities

2. Cross-Functional Co-Piloting

  • Budget & Governance Support: Act as an administrative and analytical co-pilot to manage CP budget tracking
  • Team Support: Support the team in preparing assets, inputting data into the systems, and preparing for key activities/meetings
  • Owns activities supporting processes: sampling, incentives, POS, Mars product world

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • First professional exposure to data analytics, category management, or retail operations (FMCG/Consumer Goods experience is highly preferred).
  • Sales experience would be a great asset
  • Advanced MS Excel and data visualization, and handling large datasets as well as Data Literacy: Exposure to retail databases such as Nielsen (or desire to build such competence) are a must-have
  • A proactive and action-oriented professional with strong learning agility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to plan and align
  • Good German and English skills
