Are you an experienced short-term insurance professional with strong underwriting and claims experience across both Personal and Commercial Lines?

Our client, a short-term insurance brokerage based in Melrose North, is looking to appoint an experienced Short-Term Insurance Underwriter & Claims Consultant who can independently manage policy servicing, underwriting, client queries and claims.

Minimum Requirements:

3+ years' experience within a short-term insurance brokerage or insurer
Strong Personal and Commercial Lines experience
RE5
Relevant FAIS qualifications and regulatory compliance applicable to the role
Strong MS Excel skills
Experience with quotations, renewals, endorsements and policy amendments
Experience handling short-term insurance claims from notification through to resolution
Strong insurer negotiation and client servicing skills
Experience dealing with Santam, Momentum Insure, Bryte, Hollard and other major insurers advantageous
Highly organised, reliable and detail-oriented
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
