Job Description
The SMLP Student Co‑Teacher supports instruction for Introduction to Innovation and Social Innovators courses with classroom activities, student engagement, and project‑based learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with facilitation of group discussions, workshops, and hands‑on projects.
- Provide guidance and feedback to students during collaborative and individual work.
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Support classroom management and instructional logistics as needed.
- Serve as a role model and mentor to participating students.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED OR current or recent SMLP student in good standing required.
- Familiarity with innovation, design thinking, or social impact concepts.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively with youth learners in a classroom setting.
- Reliable, professional, and adaptable.
For degrees earned outside of the U.S., a copy of your education equivalency, conducted by a nationally recognized evaluation service, must be included in your application.
