Shunt Driver
Key Responsibilities
Move, position, and organize trailers within the yard and dock areas.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractors and trailers.
Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and supervisors to maintain workflow.
Ensure trailers are properly secured and placed in designated areas.
Maintain accurate logs and follow all safety procedures.
Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately.
Assist with general yard duties when required.
Requirements
Valid AZ or Class 1 Drivers Licence.
Minimum 1 year of shunt driving or yard jockey experience.
Strong understanding of trailer backing, docking, and yard operations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented.
