Shunt Driver

Key Responsibilities

• Move, position, and organize trailers within the yard and dock areas.
  

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractors and trailers.
  

• Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and supervisors to maintain workflow.
  

• Ensure trailers are properly secured and placed in designated areas.
  

• Maintain accurate logs and follow all safety procedures.
  

• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately.
  

• Assist with general yard duties when required.
  

Requirements

• Valid AZ or Class 1 Drivers Licence.
  

• Minimum 1 year of shunt driving or yard jockey experience.
  

• Strong understanding of trailer backing, docking, and yard operations.
  

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  

• Reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented.
