Shuttle Driver/ Area Attendant ( Part-Time, Weekends) - Hilton Garden Inn Sacramento, CA

Job Summary

Hilton Garden Inn Sacramento is looking for a dependable, friendly, and service-oriented individual to join our team as a Shuttle Driver / Public Area Attendant. This dual-role position is responsible for providing safe, reliable transportation for hotel guests while also maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of the hotel's public spaces. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, enjoys interacting with people, and understands the importance of creating a positive first impression.

Duties/Responsibilities

Shuttle Driver Duties

• Safely transport hotel guest to and from designated local destinations, including airport transportation when applicable.
• Provide courteous, professional, and welcoming service to all guests.
• Assist guests with luggage as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented shuttle vehicle.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all traffic laws, hotel transportation policies, and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the front desk regarding guest transportation requests and schedules.

Public Area Attendant Duties

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of hotel public areas, including the lobby, front entrance, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and other common areas,
• Clean and maintain public spaces according to Hilton brand standards and hotel expectations.
• Monitor public areas throughout the shift and address cleaning needs promptly.
• Restock supplies in public restrooms and other designated areas.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or guest concerns to the appropriate department.
• Assist other housekeeping and hotel team members as needed.
• Help ensure guests experience a clean, comfortable, and welcoming hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to meet hotel and insurance requirements for operating a shuttle vehicle.
• Previous customer service, hospitality, driving, or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to multitask and transition between driving and cleaning responsibilities.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift.
• Flexible availability, weekends are a MUST.
