JOB OVERVIEW: Provide safe and efficient transportation for all shuttles & transportation operations while offering exceptional guest service. When passengers have questions, drivers must respond in a polite and friendly manner, deal with any complaints, and help with luggage as needed. Additional responsibilities include providing general operational support to management as assigned.

REPORTS TO: Property Manager STANDARD

SPECIFICATIONS: Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities.

To perform this job successfully, the incumbent will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently.

SCHEDULE: Hospitality demands a flexible schedule that may require extended hours as business requires – on any day at any hour, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Report to work when scheduled, on time, in proper and clean uniform, including name tag. Personal appearance and grooming must conform with standard.
  2. Handle all duties according to policies and procedures.
  3. Be knowledgeable about daily operations, check log books and bulletin boards and be up to date with all changes, new procedures and events.
  4. Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
  5. At the beginning and end of their shift, they inspect their vehicle to ensure that it is functioning correctly.
  6. Following proper safe driving procedures and safety protocol AT ALL TIMES
  7. Greeting all guests upon arrival, respond to questions in a polite and friendly manner, deal with complaints similarly while notifying management.
  8. Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policies, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
  9. Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
  10. Ensure that passengers and luggage are safely loaded and unloaded from their buses.
  11. Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.
  12. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of shuttles/vans and additional assigned work areas.
  13. Ensure shuttle/van is in proper working order (has fuel, running properly, clean, etc.) at beginning and end of shift.
  14. Maintain accurate knowledge of scheduled events locally that may affect traffic and/or scheduled routes.
  15. Must maintain proper CDL credentials and endorsements at all times.
