Shuttle Driver (Seasonal Part-Time)

SUMMARY

Responsible for the courteous, safe, and timely transportation of Team Members and other people and materials as needed within the Mountain Lake and surrounding community. This position must demonstrate strict adherence to schedules and transport-related legislation. Ultimately, an extraordinary shuttle bus driver will be able to diagnose and remedy basic mechanical issues that may arise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

1. Collate and edit transport schedules based on passengers' needs.

1. Arrive at collection points prior to departure times.

1. Confirm that all passengers are present and record no-shows.

1. Ensure adherence to passenger limits.

1. Avoid high-traffic and accident-prone routes, where possible.

1. Observe all relevant traffic and safety laws.

1. Ensure that the shuttle vehicle is fueled, well-maintained, and presentable at all times.

1. Pick up and deliver passengers on-time.

1. Check that passengers disembark at the correct destinations, and in a timely manner.

1. Record and report all major accidents and incidents to the manager.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs other work-related duties and special projects as assigned.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
