Shuttle Driver

Job Summary:

The Class A CDL Shuttle Driver is responsible for safely transporting trailers between company facilities and designated domiciles on committed shuttle routes. This position operates on scheduled routes that allow drivers to be home daily, with no over-the-road travel. Drivers depart from and return to the same terminal daily and are responsible for complying with all DOT regulations and company safety policies while ensuring timely and efficient trailer movement.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Transport trailers between Pelham, Alabama, and designated domiciles.
• Perform required pre- and post-trip inspections of tractor, trailer, and related equipment.
• Conduct damage control checks and report any issues or discrepancies.
• Immediately report safety hazards, accidents, incidents, or equipment concerns to the Transportation Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate logs and required documentation.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
