SIEM Implementation Engineer

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced SIEM Implementation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in designing, implementing, deploying, and handing over SIEM solutions into production.

The ideal candidate must have personally owned multiple SIEM implementations end-to-end, rather than working primarily in monitoring, administration, maintenance, or support.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own SIEM implementations from solution design and architecture through production deployment and handover.

- Design SIEM architecture based on security, monitoring, compliance, and business requirements.

- Perform log-source onboarding, parsing, normalization, enrichment, and data validation.

- Develop and implement SIEM use cases, correlation rules, detection rules, alerts, and dashboards.

- Configure and manage integrations with security tools, infrastructure, applications, cloud platforms, and other log sources.

- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, tuning, optimization, and performance validation.

- Work closely with SOC, security engineering, infrastructure, application, and cloud teams during implementation.

- Support UAT, production rollout, documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational handover.

- Troubleshoot integration and ingestion issues and ensure successful deployment of SIEM components.

- Assist with threat detection, threat hunting, correlation analysis, and SOC monitoring requirements.

- Tune detection rules and reduce false positives while maintaining effective security coverage.

- Prepare implementation documentation, architecture documents, configuration details, and handover artifacts.
