Summary

Maintains and troubleshoots signaling systems for rail infrastructure, ensuring safety and compliance with aviation and rail standards during rotating 12-hour shifts.

This role will be 12 hour rotating shift from 8 to 8. Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 2 nights off 2 days.

Job scope:

  • System O&M & Troubleshooting: Maintain and rectify faults across critical subsystems:
  • Safety & Control: AVP, AVO, and CBI.
  • Detection & Supervision: VD, AVS, and Wayside equipment.
  • Trackside Infrastructure: PDGCs, SLCs, and Station Device Boxes (SD).
  • Data & Comm: Manage data logging systems, communication networks, and proprietary software.
  • Quality, Safety & Compliance: * Prepare/review technical procedures and maintenance checklists.
  • Ensure strict adherence to CAG specifications, aviation safety standards, and rail regulations.
  • Analyse root causes to prevent fault recurrence.
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity will be beneficial in our communication.
  • Material & Time Management: Oversee material controlling to ensure the availability of critical spares and components.
  • Deliver results within tight windows (engineering hours) and urgent service recovery scenarios.
  • Stakeholder Coordination:
  • Internal: Liaise with the Japan Design Office, Project Managers, and site technicians.
  • External: Act as the technical point of contact for CAG (Client), vendors, and subcontractors.
