The Role
Join a team building one of SignalPET's most critical systems, operating at the intersection of AI, veterinary expertise, and customer experience. The team is responsible for ensuring that AI-generated medical insights are accurate, complete, and seamlessly delivered to veterinarians.
You'll work on a complex production system shaped by real-world technical and domain constraints, building scalable software that powers a critical part of our platform. We're looking for engineers with strong technical depth, solid engineering fundamentals, and a passion for solving complex problems through software.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve complex software systems.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable production code.
- Own features throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Drive code quality through testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to architectural and technical decisions across the platform.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field (M.Sc. – an advantage).
- Significant hands-on experience building complex software systems.
- Experience developing production systems in a product company serving customers at scale.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and excellent problem-solving skills.
- An engineering mindset with a passion for designing and building high-quality software.
