Silicon Validation Platform Engineer

You will build reusable software components and test frameworks for pre-silicon and post-silicon validation. You will abstract hardware resources, support device-driver development, automate silicon-resource allocation and test execution, apply test-driven development, and maintain Test APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop modular and reusable silicon-validation platform components.
• Abstract hardware resources so test logic can be shared across scenarios and hardware revisions.
• Assist with developing and refactoring AI-accelerator device drivers and hardware abstraction layers.
• Build internal tools and APIs for silicon-resource allocation and test execution.
• Apply test-driven development and participate in code reviews.
• Design and maintain Test APIs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software-development experience or equivalent system-software project experience.
• Understanding of the Linux kernel and device-driver model.
• C or C++ programming skills.
• Python scripting or automation experience.
• Knowledge of design patterns, refactoring, and test-driven development.
• Ability to work with silicon bring-up and pre-silicon and post-silicon validation flows.
• Problem-solving and automation skills.
• Linux kernel or driver development or debugging experience.
• Knowledge of unit-testing frameworks such as KUnit, pytest, or unittest.
• Understanding of hardware-software interfaces, including register maps, DMA, and interrupts.
• Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
