Silver Dollar City - Entertainment & Events Performer, Pumpkins in the City Dance Party Host (Seasonal, 2026)

Summary: Audition to be a Pumpkins in the City Dance Party Host and lead our guests in a great evening of dance parties, games and more fun! We are looking for entertaining candidates who are able to learn songs, choreography, and lines from a script for their specified role.

This is a Seasonal position from 9/15/2026 until 10/31/2026.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

This position will require availability from 4:30pm until 9/10:30pm Wednesday- Monday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Rehearses parts to learn songs, dance routines, lines, and cues as directed.
  • Applies make-up and wears a costume to change or enhance appearance and portrayal of character or role.
  • Speaks lines from the script.
  • Sings and dances as the role requires.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Expressive abilities, poise, stage presence, and a feel for music are required.
  • Able to communicate efficiently

Education and Experience:

  • Previous performing experience is preferred, including theme park, theater, and amateur or professional productions.
  • Formal voice, dance, and acting training is preferred.

  • The ability to lift and/or move 10 pounds frequently to 50 pounds maximum
  • The ability to stand and walk on uneven terrain, inclines, asphalt, and concrete continuously
  • The ability to perform choreographed actions related to performing frequently
  • The ability to remember locations and understand and carry out instructions frequently
  • The ability to work in extreme weather occasionally

Work Environment:

This role takes place in an energetic, outdoor setting during evening hours as part of our seasonal fall celebration. Performers should expect to work in a dynamic environment that includes music, lighting effects, costuming, and frequent guest interaction. The atmosphere is festive and fast-paced, with exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, wind, and occasional rain. Team members will be expected to maintain high energy while performing on various surfaces such as pavement, and uneven terrain. Collaboration with fellow performers, stage managers, and entertainment support staff is essential to creating a memorable guest experience.
