Simulation Architect - .NET (NR)

  • Completed Bachelor's degree in computer science, or comparable
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in .NET Backend engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in system design
  • Deep understanding of Entity Component Systems (ECS) (e.g., Arch, friflo, Entitas, or Unity DOTS) and Data-Oriented Design (DOD) for maximum CPU and memory bandwidth efficiency
  • Implementation of complex, hierarchical Behavior Trees and Finite State Machines (FSM) to model autonomous tactical unit behaviors
  • Deep understanding of .NET memory and process management (minimizing Garbage Collection overhead, SIMD utilization)
  • Bonus skill: Proven background in real-time strategy (RTS) games, grand strategy systems, or professional military/defense simulation software
  • Very good English and Hungarian language skills, written and spoken (C1-C2 Hungarian is an advantage)
  • Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate good level of self-initiatives
  • Hands-on mentality, ability to work under pressure
  • Very good cooperational skills
  • Willingness to travel in Europe for business
