About the Position:

We are looking for a [Simulation Designer] to join the [ELS] team, reporting directly to the [Optical Manager].

This position is based at our office in [Guangzhou].

As the [Simulation Designer] at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Leading quotations of display backlight and HUD from engineering side
  • Complete display components defined and display module simulation
  • Analysis the display uniformity and modify the lens design
  • Analysis HUD eye-box/virtual-image relation
  • Output HUD and backlight optical solutions based on customer expectations or concepts.
  • Integrate & coordinate display supply chain resources to output highly competitive solutions.
  • Guide suppliers to complete development according to Marelli standards and simulation result
  • Collaborate with QA/Purchasing team to complete optical components development
  • Organize design reviews between suppliers and Marelli R&D center, including global Marelli.
  • Innovative optical design concept and methodology

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • Above 3 years of experience in Optical Simulation relating projects
  • Image-optics and geometry optics knowledge.
  • Non-imaging optics knowledge
  • Colorimetry and Photometry knowledge
  • Display backlight knowledge
  • An experience in display field or Tier1 would be a plus.

Other skills that we would welcome:

  • Zemax and(or) SPEOS optical simulation software(mandatory)
  • CATIA , CREO or similar mechanical software.
  • Language Skills
