Position Summary
Children's Simulation Operations Specialist supports simulation services targeted at meeting the strategic goals of the Simulation Program. The Simulation Operations Specialist will report directly to the Simulation Operations Manager and work in collaboration with the Program Director and Program Medical Director.
This position will work at the following locations depending on assignment\: Children's Business Campus (Edina, MN), Children's Minnesota-Minneapolis Campus, and Children's Minnesota-St. Paul Campus.
Primary responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to\:
*Plans, implements and coordinates simulation-based programs in conjunction with simulation education specialists and other educators.
*Responsible for the simulation technologies, which include manikin and AV operation, and maintains knowledge, skill and proficiency in all aspects of technology.
*Maintains the equipment and supply inventory of a multi-site simulation program.
*Ensures established standards of quality and performance are upheld within the overall goals and activities of Children's Simulation program. Demonstrates a high level of independent action and initiative, as well as creative thinking to design and carry out these activities.
*Works as a team with other simulation operations specialists and simulation specialists in the orchestration of simulations within a busy multi-site simulation program.
Occasional evening, night and weekend hours required. Occasional overnight travel required.
