Salary: S4,000–S5,800 per month

Work Schedule: 5 Days, 8:15 AM –6:00 PM

Role Overview

We are seeking a technically proficient, hands-on, and detail-oriented Program Engineer to oversee and coordinate complex, high-precision engineering programs from initial order entry to final site commissioning and customer sign-off.

In this vital operational role, you will bridge the gap between clients, project leadership, and internal production cells. You will provide deep technical direction for CNC machining and assembly processes, manage project lifecycles, and enforce rigorous quality standards to ensure custom-engineered systems are delivered flawlessly on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Program & ProjectExecution

· Plan, monitor, and control complex precision engineering projects seamlessly from receipt of customer orders through to final site installation and project completion.

· Develop comprehensive project baselines, work breakdown structures, schedules, and financial budgets to ensure strict adherence to timelines.

· Coordinate cross-functional project teams (NPI, machining, assembly, and quality) to eliminate bottlenecks and guarantee committed delivery schedules are met.

· Drive from customer project acceptance and secure sign-offs upon successful completion.

2. Technical Support & Engineering Governance

· Provide core technical expertise in precision manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, micro-fabrication, metrology, and mechanical system integration.

· Evaluate manufacturing feasibility, review engineering drawings, and conduct risk assessments for high-precision components and assemblies.

· Oversee configuration management and coordinate subsequent engineering change orders(ECOs), ensuring smooth implementation on the shop floor.

· Offer advisory support to operations teams to maintain consistent quality workmanship and adherence to strict design specifications.

3. Quality Assurance & Compliance

· Review, prepare, and administer Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), Inspection Test Plans (ITP), and other critical operational procedures.

· Ensure all manufacturing outputs comply with client specifications, surveillance requirements, and established industry standards (such as ISO 9001 and AS9100).

· Participate actively in the implementation of risk assessments and risk control procedures, particularly for specialized sectors like medical devices and semiconductor tooling.

4. Customer Interface & Stakeholder Management

· Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, providing proactive updates on project development, manufacturing status, and technical milestones.

· Consult with clients on technical requirements, review or prepare contractual quotations for new and existing products, and offer value-added engineering solutions.

· Deliver regular progress reports, technical documentation, and risk evaluations to internal management and external stakeholders under pressure-filled conditions.

Position Requirements

Qualifications & Education

· Education: NTC, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in MechanicalEngineering, Manufacturing, Precision Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Experience Requirements

· 3 to 6 years of professional experience in program, project, or manufacturing engineering within a precision engineering, system integration, or contract manufacturing environment.

· Minimum of 2years of dedicated project management experience handling multi-disciplinary teams within a precision machining or equipment manufacturing setting.

· Working familiarity with CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) and project scheduling platforms (MS Project) is a distinct advantage.
