Job Summary

Perform as a professional singer by delivering live and recorded music performances, preparing through vocal training and rehearsals, collaborating with industry professionals, and promoting a personal or group music brand.

Responsibilities

• Perform music for live audiences and recordings to deliver engaging and high-quality performances
• Audition for roles in concerts, operas, musicals, and other musical productions to secure performance opportunities
• Practice singing exercises and study with vocal coaches to develop vocal skills and prepare for upcoming roles
• Collaborate with a manager or agent to manage administrative tasks, secure work, and negotiate contracts effectively
• Research roles and analyze characters to deliver authentic and compelling portrayals
• Learn and rehearse songs thoroughly to ensure accurate and confident performances
• Attend auditions and rehearsals punctually as scheduled to maintain readiness and professionalism
• Work closely with directors, composers, and fellow singers to achieve the desired sound and artistic vision in performances
• Implement vocal care techniques to protect the voice from strain and damage during practice and performances
• Develop and maintain a consistent personal brand and public image, including active engagement on social media platforms
• Promote individual or group music through media interviews and public activities to increase visibility and audience reach
