Operates and maintains sintering furnaces to form materials from powder, performs quality inspections, and ensures safety and equipment upkeep in a manufacturing environment.
Job description
Job Responsibilities:
Operating Sintering Furnaces: Handling thermal de-binding and sintering machines to form materials from powder.
Process Control: Setting up press machines, adjusting tooling, filling hoppers, and monitoring material handling.
Quality Inspections: Conducting metrology or test methods such as interferometry or optical profilometers to ensure product quality.
Maintenance: Conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment.
Safety & 5S: Implementing safety measures (e.g., LOTO) and ensuring a clean work environment.
Job Requirements:
Background: Experience in metallurgical technician roles, powder metallurgy, or ceramic processing.
Technology: Familiarity with high-tech vacuum or atmosphere furnaces and pressure sintering.
Experience: Specific roles often seek 0-2+ years of experience in sintering or related manufacturing processes.
Education: Typically requires NITEC or Diploma in Engineering (Materials, Mechanical, or Metallurgical).

A Shift – 8:15 AM to 8:15 PM (Monday to Thursday), Rotating Shift
C Shift – 8:15 PM to 8:15 AM (Monday to Thursday), Rotating Shift
