Job Summary

Navsar Global seeks a meticulous Site Coordinator to manage daily site operations for railway infrastructure projects. You will coordinate teams, monitor progress, enforce safety, and support documentation to ensure timely, compliant project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily site operations including work planning, site access, and resource allocation to maintain project progress
  • Liaise effectively with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to align and execute work activities per project plans
  • Track and report site progress accurately to site management for informed decision-making
  • Maintain and update site records such as reports, checklists, permits, and project documentation with precision
  • Support preparation and submission of site documentation including method statements, work permits, and test reports
  • Manage logistics for tools, materials, and manpower to ensure timely availability for site works
  • Monitor and enforce site safety protocols in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Participate actively in site meetings, toolbox briefings, and coordination sessions to enhance project efficiency
  • Track site issues and follow up on actions or discrepancies to ensure prompt resolution
  • Facilitate clear communication between site teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth information flow
  • Provide regular, detailed site progress updates to the Project Manager and Installation Manager, highlighting key developments and challenges
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency in current and future projects

Required competencies and certifications

  • Valid Forklift License for a 10 Ton Forklift
  • Proficiency in spoken Mandarin for effective verbal communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders on site, supporting clear coordination and safety compliance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification, or 1 to 3 years of experience in coordination or site support roles
  • Prior experience in railway or large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for professional engagement with diverse stakeholders
  • Organizational and coordination skills with strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work on-site including night shifts or weekends as project demands require
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation
  • Valid Class 3 driving license
