Site Engineer – Bridge Inspection & Assessment

Kafaat Recruitment is seeking a qualified and motivated Site Engineer – Bridge Inspection & Assessment on behalf of one of our clients specializing in engineering and infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting and supervising on-site bridge inspections, assessing structural conditions, ensuring accurate technical documentation, and coordinating field activities in compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections of bridges and concrete structures to assess their physical and structural conditions.
• Identify, inspect, and document structural defects, cracks, deterioration, and damage using photographs, measurements, and field observations.
• Supervise field technicians, assign daily tasks, and monitor work progress to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate and oversee field testing activities, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of collected data and results.
• Prepare detailed technical inspection reports, progress reports, and site documentation for submission to the Project Manager.
• Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and relevant stakeholders to facilitate site operations.
• Ensure all inspection activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.
• Identify and promptly report any critical structural defects or potential safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure proper documentation of all site activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of bridge inspection, structural assessment, and concrete structures.
• Familiarity with identifying structural defects and deterioration in concrete infrastructure.
• Ability to prepare accurate technical and engineering reports.
• Strong site supervision, team coordination, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Willingness to travel and work at various project sites across Saudi Arabia.
• Commitment to quality standards and occupational health and safety procedures.
