Site Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager and Construction Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing site works related to steel structure installation, precast works, roadworks, and drainage systems.
- Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site supervisors to ensure smooth work progress and timely completion of works.
- Review construction drawings and resolve technical issues on site.
- Ensure compliance with project schedule, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Prepare and submit technical documents including method statements, material submissions, shop drawings, and work inspection requests.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and relevant authorities regarding site matters and inspections.
- Ensure proper implementation of workplace safety and health practices on site.
- Assist in resolving site technical issues and providing engineering support to the project team.
- Candidate will be involved in Infrastructure and Bridge Construction project.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- Familiar with construction practices, technical drawings, and project coordination.
- Knowledge of local construction regulations and safety requirements is an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic engineering software such as AutoCAD.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Training will be provided for fresh graduates.
- Remuneration will commensurate with experience.
