Site Engineer Civil
Summary: This role is critical for the successful delivery of infrastructure projects, requiring a strong foundation in civil engineering and substantial hands-on experience in project execution. The position demands expertise in managing complex civil engineering tasks within railway, metro rail, or infrastructure development environments. Candidates must demonstrate proven leadership and technical proficiency, particularly in large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and schedule standards. The role plays a pivotal part in driving project milestones and supporting organizational growth in the transportation and infrastructure sector.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of civil engineering works on infrastructure projects.
- Ensure adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Supervise field operations, including site inspections, progress monitoring, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical and operational challenges.
- Prepare and review technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
Requirements
Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure project execution, OR Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
Alternatively, at least 3 years of experience in SSE or equivalent grade in Civil Engineering department of Railways, or AM and above in Civil Engineering department of RITES/IRCON/RVNL, or equivalent grade in Konkan Railway/MRVC/DFCCIL, or any JVs/SPVs under the Ministry of Railways, or any Metro Rail Corporation (individually or combined).
