Site Engineer (Civil Engineering)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections and quality-control checks to verify that construction works meet project specifications and standards.
- Overseeing the construction activities and progress, planning, implementation and monitoring work schedules in accordance to the master and detailed work programme.
- Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary Works.
- To plan, coordinate and resolve all on-site technical and engineering related matters.
- Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to construction works, ensure progress according to schedule, quality standards are maintained, site inspections are carried out and technical issues resolved on time.
- Manage and control workers and monitor their work closely to keep site safer and neat.
- Supervise ongoing site activities closely.
- Prepare and submit shop drawings, materials documentation, Method of Statement (MOS), monthly progress claims, and project management reports to support project tracking and approvals.
- Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Company.
Requirements:
- BCA recognised Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years experience in the construction site, fresh graduate are welcomed.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin in order to communicate with Chinese speaking counterparts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
- Preferably possess own transport or valid Class 3 license
- Have good interpersonal, communication and people management skills
- Immediate or short notice preferred
