Role: Site Engineer
Projects: Large-scale Residential & Commercial
Essentials: Engineering Degree; 3+ years' construction engineering experience in Ireland; Strong building and concrete frame experience.
Location: Cork
Salary: €55,000 - €65,000
Package: Company car, pension, and more.
Reporting into: Project Manager
- Support the Senior Engineer in the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction works on site.
- Carry out setting out, dimensional control, site inspections, and quality assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review drawings, design information, inspection and test plans, and identify potential programme or design coordination issues.
- Liaise with subcontractors, design teams, and site personnel to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.
- Prepare technical submissions, method statements, risk assessments, and maintain accurate site records and project documentation.
- Monitor quality standards, manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), and assist with project close-out, snagging, and handover activities.
