Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer / Drafter to support construction and interior fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings, coordinating with site teams, monitoring project progress, and ensuring works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Drafting & Design

• Prepare and revise architectural, structural, and interior fit-out drawings using AutoCAD to meet project specifications
• Produce accurate shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction details for project execution
• Coordinate and communicate drawing requirements with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure alignment
• Verify that all drawings comply with project requirements and relevant authority regulations

Site Coordination

• Attend site meetings and coordinate daily site activities to support smooth construction progress
• Conduct precise site measurements and verify dimensions before drafting to ensure accuracy
• Monitor construction progress and report site issues promptly to the Project Manager for resolution
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate timely project execution
• Assist in resolving technical and construction-related issues on site to maintain project quality

Project Administration

• Maintain drawing registers and organize project documentation for easy retrieval and compliance
• Prepare material submissions and coordinate approval processes with relevant stakeholders
• Assist in project scheduling and progress reporting to track milestones and deadlines
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements to maintain a safe working environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience managing residential, commercial, and A&A projects to handle diverse project types
• Familiarity with Singapore building regulations and construction practices to ensure regulatory compliance
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively to support project delivery

• SGD 2,800 – SGD 4,500 (commensurate with experience)
